The February Bulletin

Welcome to the second of our newsletters this year and unlike January which seems to last at least 754 days long the short month of February has gone in the blink of an eye!
February is always a busy month in the buying calendar where we prepare for the next Autumn/Winter season and plan our festive period buying strategy.
The life of a buyer means our heads are forever in the future and I’ve always felt that It means I don’t seem to enjoy what’s in store now and in the current season. So, I’m learning to find time to ground myself a little and create moment of stillness in my day to feel present, taking time to enjoy the simple things like noticing the first sings of spring and all the flowers.
Storm Eunice didn't hamper our plans to get to London in February, where we attended Top Drawer at Olympia, which is the UK's leading design led buying show. Not only was it good to have a change of scene in London, it was also great to see so much inspiring new product all under one roof.
It was Jemima’s first buying trip at Bottega which made it something of an occasion and we stayed at High Road House in Chiswick.
During our trip we managed to catch up with Jodie for a late Sunday lunch at Electric House in Portobello.
Notting Hill always offers such diversity and vibrancy and it's a bonus to attend appointments there so we can enjoy all that the area has to offer, including a trip to my favourite vintage store Karen Vintage. It's always a wrench to leave but with all the new SS22 collections arriving in store, we have lots to feel positive about.
