Since Bottega’s move to Tarporley in 2010, we feel as though we’ve been on a rollercoaster of a ride ever since, especially not least during the Covid years. Before the world changed forever, we were able to explore new and exciting opportunities in Barbados and the Caribbean; The Boutique at Calabash opened in Grenada in April 2016 followed by the refurbishment of thirty bedrooms by our founder, Sam Brightmore at Calabash Boutique Hotel and Spa in September of the same year. Following this project, Calabash went on to be voted as best hotel in the Caribbean by Trip Advisor as well as securing an affiliation to Relais & Chateau leading hotels. 

We're delighted to be back working with Calabash Hotel in 2023, with a newly refurbished boutique space.

Grenada

The Boutique at Calabash was Bottega’s first international boutique curation project and is attached to the award winning, Relais & Chateaux property, the Calabash Hotel in Grenada. The boutique was designed to reflect much of the Bottega brand ethos and our distinctive Matthieu Challieres birdcage chandeliers hang in this Grenadian outpost as a nod to our UK store. The boutique was carefully curated with a handpicked edit of some of the well known resort collections associated with us at Bottega & was created with the Calabash clientele, as well as a local audience in mind.

The Boutique at Sandy Lane

Barbados 

The Boutique at Sandy Lane was Bottega’s most recent boutique curation project that launched in the Winter of 2017. Sam was asked by the Chairman, Dermot Desmond to curate a new boutique at his world renowned property on the West Coast of Barbados & Sandy Lane's legendary style & clientele makes it one of the most prestigious resorts in the world and the fashion edit in the store naturally reflects that. We worked closely on the store design and layout with a visionary architect to create a luxurious interior to reflect the style, quality & heritage of this iconic hotel. The Bottega buying team travelled far and wide to secure a collection of well known as well as under the radar, niche brands with which to fill what is an exquisite shopping experience in Barbados.
