Roy Halston Frowick, better known simply as 'Halston', is a household name in fashion. Well recognised for defining the luxury American market in the 70s, his groundbreaking designs continue to influence today’s fashion industry and define iconic American style. 

When you think of Halston, disco balls may takeover your iris' as he was also quite the socialite and a regular at the iconic Studio 54. His strong connection to pop culture was evident by his friends and clients, which included Andy Warhol, Bianca Jagger, Elizabeth Taylor, Anjelica Huston, Liza Minelli, and his famed model entourage, the Halstonettes. 

Halston is once again a hot topic, making a revival from the 1970s, as a result of the release of the Netflix original series 'Halston', which documents the designer's rise to fame and lavish lifestyle before spiralling out of control. Although a somewhat sad story, this does not take away from the amazing talent of designer Halston. It is definitely worth the watch, even just to see the amazing outfits!
