Many moons ago, I worked for The General Trading Company a heritage brand located on Sloane Street in London, founded in 1920. GTC was the first wedding list concierge service embraced by the Royal Family. Although it may seem like a lifetime ago I stood in what seemed like a luxury realm for exquisite gifting, assisting clients such as The Kennedy family, Christian Slater, Richard Gere, Michel Roux and an eccentric Joan Collins ( I could write a book on these encounters) to name a few! The world renowned level of service I was trained to provide there has stayed with me and such you will see touches of this level of detail in everything we do at Bottega.  From our signature orange branding which was influenced by the iconic branding of GTC and their infamous big yellow bags.

The Gift Concierge service we launched last week has been 13 years in the making. Details will always be important to me, I will forever take notice of the smallest detail and this has been translated into each level of my branding experience. Since Bottega’s inception, gifts have been wrapped firstly in scented orange tissue paper and then secondly carefully wrapped in our signature gift wrap and finished with bow as all good things do. Although we have always offered a luxury gift wrapping service in-store, last week we integrated this luxury service into our online platform.
I hope that our loyal clients and lovely customers who have recently discovered our treasure trove continue to enjoy our signature gift wrapping service with a very personal touch by selecting ‘gift wrapping’ at checkout.

Your chosen gift is then lovingly wrapped in our signature scented orange tissue and bespoke wrapping paper. Finished with a bow, your gift can also be paired with a handwritten message of your choice, to add a heartfelt personal touch.

Once complete, your gift will be packaged, posted and delivered to the recipient’s door, keeping you connected with your loved ones.
